Renata started her life with Canberra Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist in November 1996. She is currently our Practice Manager and has become an irreplaceable “part of the furniture” here at CVH. She grew up in Canberra, but supports the Brisbane Broncos, even calling her Labrador Brizzy! Her favourite animals are dogs because they are loyal, loving and have unconditional love. In her spare time she likes to relax, and will watch any comedy movie! Although she has travelled to Europe and the USA, she says you cannot beat Australia! Renata now has another member of her fur family, Lilo a Toy Poodle.
Recently Renata was awarded The Australian Veterinary Business Manager of the Year Award. To read more click here
Administration and Inventory Manager
Growing up with many pets, working with animals was the only natural choice to make when leaving school. I have worked across a number of animal related industries – the racing industry, Wildlife Park specializing in Australian natives – I am a licensed wildlife carer of 30 plus years, Riding schools and Horse boarding facilities and of course the Veterinary industry. As a qualified nurse I have been lucky to have worked in general practice, equine practice and after hours emergency. Branching into practice management saw me managing an After Hours Emergency Practice for 8 years. After a couple of years transitioning gradually into more part time work I am enjoying a work-life balance that allows me to still be actively involved in the veterinary industry and also be able to enjoy my down time with family and friends as well.
Sharing my life are my husband, two adult daughters and currently two very spoilt Border Collies -” BJ and Millie” and an aged and very precious Arab mare – “Ness”.
